The region has a number of theatres, for those who like to go to shoes, plays, etc. In Liverpool we have Everyman, Playhouse, The Empire Theatre and the Royal Court. Here on the Wirral we have the recently refurbished Floral Pavillion.

There is also a range of multiplex cinemas on both the Wirral and Liverpool. You could also visit FACT for a great day out and enjoy exhibitions, live webcasts, the latest film releases, including the best in independent cinema. FACT also features a cafe, a bar and a shop.

For the music lovers we have The Beatles Story, at the Albert Dock, Liverpool and you could also take a Magical Mystery Tour - a trip round the early life of The Beatles. Or on Mathew Street call in to The Cavern. In the summer there is also the free Mathew Street Festival featuring live bands all over Liverpool city centre.
